I have always loved senior portrait sessions – they really are my fave! I was so excited to get to work on these pictures after Ryley’s shoot – she was awesome to work with and I got to shoot at a new location that I’ve been eyeing for a while 🙂 I wanted to do my own girls’ senior pictures here and someday we will… someday lol… if they ever decide what they want to wear and if our schedules ever magically align and we all have a free evening before they head off to college next year 🙁 Fingers crossed lol…

Anyway, some things did align this night…we got perfect and I mean PERFECT weather – one of those rare cool breezy summer nights that made it no problem to run around downtown without sweating and gettin’ the hair all frizzy! Then we got this AMAZING sky!! The colors and the clouds were just to die for! The clouds kept blocking the sun at just the right angle that we got this beautiful golden glow around this turquoise and pink sunset – I didn’t photoshop it guys – that’s how it looked in real life!

And most importantly, Ryley was so much fun! She never quit smiling and was up for anything. I want my senior sessions to capture more than just you standing there smiling – I want them to feel natural – your hair blowing in the breeze, your laughs, your confidence – the real you, not forced smiles and posed expressions. So we jump around, twirl, laugh a LOT, get some photos when you’re thinking I’m not shooting, when you’re laughing at your mom or your best friend who came along to help…

These kinds of things are what really get me excited and get my creativity and inspiration going! It’s like I have this mission to do everything I can to capture how perfect everything is and do it justice! I hope I accomplished that for Ryley and her mom 🙂

Kate – Class of 2016| Louisville, KY Senior Portraits | Kelly Beach Photography

Senior portrait sessions are so much fun for me! We had a blast wandering around downtown for Kate’s shoot and found so many cool spots for her photos! Flowers and trees are pretty but it’s so much fun to get out and do an urban shoot sometimes too!  You can find all kinds of colors and textures and things around every corner and no two areas are alike!

So, Class of 2017…It’s time to schedule your senior portrait session!!  If you love Kate’s photos and also want a custom session with unlimited outfits, at any location you choose that is totally laid back and fun, call me to set up your shoot with me! 🙂 You won’t regret it I promise!! 🙂 Click here to fill out the Class of 2017 Session Request Form or if you’re interested in becoming a Senior Rep, click here2016-03-20_00022016-03-20_00052016-03-20_00062016-03-20_00072016-03-20_0001
